Payment and security

1. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept a wide range of secure payment methods, depending on your country and device:

  • Credit & Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club

  • Express Checkouts: Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, PayPal

Note: Available payment options dynamically adjust based on your location and device (e.g., Apple Pay only appears on Apple hardware using a supported browser).

2. Is my payment secure?

Yes, your payment details never touch our systems.

  • PCI DSS Level 1 Certified: Our store runs on Shopify, and checkout is hosted under Shopify's certified PCI DSS Level 1 environment—the highest standard of security in the payment industry for storing, processing, and transmitting card data.

  • What we can (and cannot) see: We only see your name, delivery address, email, order total, card brand, and the last four digits of your card (just enough to reconcile payments or issue refunds). We never see or store your full card number or CVV.

  • End-to-End Encryption: Every page on our site, including checkout, is secured with TLS encryption.

  • 3-D Secure: Where supported by your bank, card payments go through 3-D Secure verification for extra protection.

3. Currency, Charges & Foreign Exchange Fees

  • Currency: All transactions are processed in US Dollars (USD).

  • Foreign Cards: If your card is issued in another currency, your bank will handle the conversion at their own exchange rate and may apply a foreign transaction fee (this fee is charged by your bank, not us).

  • Billing Time: Your card is charged at the moment your order is successfully placed, not when it ships.

  • Statement Descriptor: Charges will appear on your bank statement as VIBLITZ. If you see an unfamiliar charge, please email us before opening a dispute with your bank—it's much faster to resolve directly.

4. Refunds

Refunds are issued back to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days after a returned item arrives and is inspected. Once issued, the time it takes for the funds to reflect in your account depends entirely on your bank.

5. Important Security Reminders

  • No Alternative Payments: We never accept payment via bank transfer, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or wire transfer. Anyone asking you to pay Viblitz via these methods is not us.

  • We Will Never Ask for Your Full Card Details: If you receive an email claiming to be from us asking for your full card number, CVV, or password, do not share it. Reach out to us immediately at service@velarnique.com.

6. Data & Privacy
